history
The farm was probably settled in the early days of Lindlar's settlement around 956.
The Overather list of residents and livestock from 1848, according to which tax revenue was calculated, among other things, gives a little insight into living conditions at that time. According to this, Kleuelshöhe had 14 inhabitants at the time. Including the family of seven of the farmer Peter Müller with five children and the possession of 1 cow, 1 cattle, 1 pig . The farm worker Johann Spiegel owned 1 cow, 1 goat and the farm worker Heinrich Breidenassel owned 1 ox, 3 cows, a pig and two calves . The latter employed two people without wages, as the authorities noted: one is insane and the maid has a small child . The seamstress Catharina Fischer is also listed: who moved in for two months, was previously with Johann Grötzenbach in Overath.
Due to § 10 and § 14 of the Cologne Act , individual localities of Overath were incorporated into the municipality of Lindlar in 1975 , including Kleulshöhe.
