The village of Klespe with about 40 inhabitants is a district of the municipality of Lindlar , Oberbergischen Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Klespe is located southwest of Lindlar and south and along the L299 on the Lennefer Bach. The area along the L299 is also called "fresh air" in local dialect.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1467 as Klespen .

In 1830 Klespe had 39 inhabitants.

After 1932 Klespe was supplied with electricity by the Overath Electricity Cooperative.

  • a stone slab built out of gratitude to God. Once when a crippled man came to Klespe on foot, people believed they saw the devil. Fortunately, the man did not stop in town. God had saved Clespe from the devil in this way.
