Oberfeld is a place in the municipality of Lindlar , Oberbergischen Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Oberfeld is located north of Lindlar on the L284 road between Wipperfürth - Niedergaul and Hartegasse in the valley of the Breun stream . Neighboring places are Unterfeld , Roderwiese , Stelberg and Müllerhof .

history

In 1470, Feld was mentioned for the first time in an inventory of the Steinbach office with the place name " Velde ". The Topographia Ducatus Montani map from 1715 names two neighboring farms with “Feld” and marks them as “Freyhof”. In the map Topographical Survey of the Rhineland from 1825, the courtyards are shown in separate courtyards and named Unterfeld and Oberfeld. Oberfeld shows four individual building floor plans on this map.
