The hamlet Unterlichtinghagen is a district of the municipality of Lindlar in the Oberbergischer Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Unterlichtinghagen is located northeast of Lindlar in the north of Scheel . Other neighboring towns are Oberhabbach , Oberlichtinghagen , Fenchen and Niederhabbach . A tributary of the Scheelbach flows into the Leppe in the east of the village .

history

In 1413 Lichtinghagen was mentioned for the first time as "Lichtinckhaen" in a combing register of the Frohnhof Lindlar. In the Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715, “n. Lichtinghagen ” with four courtyards. The topographical map of the Rhineland from 1824 shows the location in a delimited courtyard with 16 separate building plans.
