30th Reserve Division (German Empire)

The 30th Reserve Division was formed as a large unit of the Prussian Army at the beginning of the First World War . From the end of December 1916, the division consisted exclusively of country team parts of the Kingdom of Bavaria and from that point on was a major unit of the Bavarian Army .

Division of War 1918

history

The association was originally set up on August 2, 1914 as the main reserve of the Strasbourg fortress . Later he was subordinate to the Eberhardt / XV Corps . Reserve Corps .
