The 8th Cavalry Division (Royal Saxon) was a major unit of the Saxon army in the First World War .

history

The division was formed as part of the mobilization at the beginning of the First World War , initially on the western and from September 1914 on the eastern front. In October 1917 she had given up her horses. On April 5, 1918, the association was dissolved.
