Beaulieu is about ten kilometers north-northeast of Le Puy-en-Velay in the natural landscape Emblavès (also written Emblavez ) on the Loire , which borders the municipality to the west. The neighboring municipalities of Beaulieu are Vorey in the north and north-west, Chamalières-sur-Loire in the north-east, Rosières in the east, Malrevers in the south, Lavoûte-sur-Loire in the south-west and Saint-Vincent in the west.
