Freycenet-la-Tour is a French municipality with 104 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Le Puy-en-Velay and the canton of Mézenc (until 2015 canton of Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille ).

Freycenet-la-Tour is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Laussonne in the north, Moudeyres in the east and north-east, Les Estables in the east and south-east, Freycenet-la-Cuche in the south and Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille in the west and south-west.
