Alleyrac is a French municipality with 117 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Le Puy-en-Velay and the canton of Mézenc (until 2015 canton of Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille ). The inhabitants are called Alleyracois .

Alleyrac is located about 20 kilometers south-southeast of Le Puy-en-Velay . Alleyrac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille in the north, Présailles in the east, Salettes in the south and Saint-Martin-de-Fugères in the west.
