Blavozy is about ten kilometers east-northeast of Le Puy-en-Velay on the Sumène . Blavozy is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Malrevers in the north, Saint-Étienne-Lardeyrol in the northeast, Saint-Pierre-Eynac in the east and southeast, Saint-Germain-Laprade in the south and west and Chaspinhac in the northwest.

The national route 88 runs through the municipality .
