Ouides is located about 20 kilometers south-southwest of Le Puy-en-Velay in the Massif Central . Ouides is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Jean-Lachalm in the north, Cayres in the east and northeast, Le Bouchet-Saint-Nicolas in the east and southeast, Saint-Haon in the south and Alleyras in the west.
