Lissac is about 15 kilometers northwest of Le Puy-en-Velay . Lissac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Céaux-d'Allègre in the north, Saint-Paulien in the east, Loudes in the south, Vazeilles-Limandre in the southwest and Vernassal in the west.
