The tour of England's national cricket team in the West Indies in the 1997/98 season took place from January 29 to April 8, 1998. The international cricket tour was part of the 1997/98 international cricket season and included six tests and five ODIs . The West Indies won Test Series 3–1 and ODI Series 4–1.
prehistory
Both teams previously contested a four-nation tournament in the United Arab Emirates together with India and Pakistan . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 1995 season .
