geography
The municipality of Obehergheim is located on the left bank of the Ill , on the right-hand side the Canal Vauban runs , which here turns north-east towards Neuf-Brisach . In the west, the municipality extends to the Alte Thur .
history
From 1871 until the end of the First World War , Oberhergheim belonged to the German Empire as part of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine and was assigned to the Gebweiler district in the Upper Alsace district .

Attractions
The classicist St. Leodegar Church ( Église Saint-Léger ), which was completed in 1844, houses a listed organ from 1853, which is considered to be one of the best preserved and most representative of its time, both plastically and musically.
