Per-Erik Larsson (born May 3, 1929 in Oxberg , † May 31, 2008 in Mora ) was a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Larsson, who started for the IFK Mora and the Oxbergs IF , had his first international success at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1954 in Falun . There he won the bronze medal with the relay and was also eighth over 15 km. In the same year he won third place in the 18 km run at the Lahti Ski Games . Two years later he also won the bronze medal with the relay at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo . In the individual races he finished 12th over 15 km and seventh over 30 km. In the same and the following year he won the Svenska Skidspelen over 15 km. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1958 , he was world champion with the relay. He also came ninth over 50 km and eighth over 15 km. At his last Winter Olympics in 1960 in Squaw Valley , he achieved 17th place over 15 km. He achieved his best placement in the Wasalauf in 1963 with third place. In the Swedish championships he won over 15 km in 1954 and over 30 km in 1956. He was also five times champion with the relay, three times with IFK Mora (1953-55) and twice with Oxbergs IF (1958, 1961).
