Rouffiac ( Occitan Rofiac ) is a French municipality with 205 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Cantal in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Aurillac and the canton of Saint-Paul-des-Landes (until 2015 Laroquebrou ). The inhabitants are called Rouffiacois .

location

Rouffiac is located about 24 kilometers west-northwest of Aurillac in the Massif Central and in the Châtaigneraie . Rouffiac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cros-de-Montvert in the north, Saint-Santin-Cantalès in the east, Montvert in the south and southeast, Goulles in the south and west and Saint-Geniez-ô-Merle and Saint-Cirgues-la-Loutre in the Northwest.
