Saint-Lambert (also: Saint-Lambert-des-Bois ) is a French municipality with 452 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Maurepas (until 2015: canton of Chevreuse ). The inhabitants are called Lambertinois .
geography
The municipality is part of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Nature Park . Saint-Lambert is located about 27 kilometers west-southwest of Paris and is surrounded by the neighboring communities Magny-les-Hameaux in the north and northeast, Milon-la-Chapelle in the east and southeast, Chevreuse in the south and southeast, Saint-Forget in the south and southwest as well Le Mesnil-Saint-Denis to the west.
