Vicq is a French municipality with 398 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rambouillet and the canton of Aubergenville (until 2015: canton of Montfort-l'Amaury ). The inhabitants are called vicquois .
geography
Vicq is 18 kilometers north of Rambouillet and about 37 kilometers west-southwest of Paris . The neighboring communities of Vicq are Auteuil and Saulx-Marchais in the north, Neauphle-le-Vieux in the east, Méré in the south and Boissy-sans-Avoir in the west.
