The nature reserve Wentruper Berge is located in the area of ​​the city of Greven in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area extends northwest of the core city of Greven. The B 481 runs to the east and the B 219 to the south-east . The Ems flows north and west .

Since 2004, a 61.49 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Greven under the identification number ST-027. The area was placed under protection to preserve a dune area made up of different dune bodies, small domed dunes and elongated dune ridges directly on the edge of the Emsaue, as part of a typical river landscape and a biotope network of national importance.
