The nature reserve Steinbruch im Kleefeld is located in the area of the city Lengerich in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends northwest of the core town of Lengerich. The A 1 runs to the north, the L 591 state road to the southwest and the L 589 to the south- east. The state border with Lower Saxony runs to the east.
