The Wischlager Wiesen nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the cities of Ibbenbüren and Tecklenburg in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area, which consists of two sub-areas, extends west of Brochterbeck , a district of the city of Tecklenburg. The state road L 591 runs along the northern edge of the area. The B 219 runs to the west and the Dortmund-Ems Canal flows, while the 59.3 ha nature reserve Dörenther Klippen extends to the north .
