The Sloopsteene nature reserve is one of the smallest nature reserves in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The approximately 1.47 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1938 , extends northeast of the core town of the municipality of Westerkappeln . The state road L 595 runs to the south and the A 1 to the east . In the area is the large stone grave Great Sloop Stones .
