The Tütenvenn nature reserve is located in the area of the city of Ochtrup in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends northwest of the core town of Ochtrup. It borders directly on the 650 hectare Gildehauser Venn , which extends to the north and is located in the Grafschaft Bentheim district in Lower Saxony . The A 31 runs east. West of the area extending to the 28 ha large Dreiländersee and 5.3 hectare nature reserve Rüenberger Venn and extend the country road L 572 and the border with the Netherlands .
