The Harskamp nature reserve is located in the area of ​​the city of Ochtrup and the municipality of Wettringen in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The area extends northeast of the core town of Ochtrup and northwest of the core town of Wettringen. The A 31 and the L 582 state road run to the west, the L 567 runs to the east. The state border with Lower Saxony runs not far to the north.
