The nature reserve Moor am Holstener Weg is located in the area of the city of Rheine in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends north of the core city of Rheine directly on the B 70 on the western edge and the state border with Lower Saxony . The A 30 runs north . The Ems flows south and the Dortmund-Ems Canal to the east .
