The Feuchtwiese Hohner Mark nature reserve is located in the city of Lengerich in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends south of the core town of Lengerich. The state road L 591 runs to the north, the L 811 to the west and the B 475 to the south . The 19.12 hectare nature reserve (NSG) in the Nieder Mark extends south-east .
meaning
A 17.45 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Lengerich since 1987 under the identification number ST-058. The area was placed under protection for conservation. Development and restoration of communities and habitats , in particular of plants and plant communities of open water and moist grassland as well as of rare and z. Plant and animal species that are partly endangered, typical of the landscape, include rare, sometimes endangered waders and meadow birds , amphibians and invertebrates .
