The Haseniederung nature reserve is located in the Lotte community in the Steinfurt district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area, which consists of two sub-areas, extends northeast of the core town of Lotte and north of Halen , a district of Lotte, along the Hase and the eastern border with Lower Saxony . The state road L 584 runs to the west, the L 109 and the A 1 to the south . The branch canal Osnabrück flows to the east and runs along the B 68 . The 705 hectare nature reserve (NSG) Haler Feld-Vogelpohl extends to the west and the 8.56 hectare NSG Deipe Briäke to the south .
meaning
A 69.80 hectare area has been designated as a nature reserve for Lotte since 1988 under the identification number ST-008.
