Babe Ruth Award

The Babe Ruth Award is an award in the American Baseball -Profiliga Major League Baseball . The trophy is named after the late baseball legend Babe Ruth .

It has been given annually since 1948 to the baseball player who has been the "Most Valuable Player" in the World Series . American sports journalists take part in the election itself. So far, no prize has been awarded in 1994 because baseball players were on strike at the time.
