from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Clam Concerts are open-air concerts with internationally known musicians on the area below Clam Castle in Klam in the Perg district in the Lower Mühlviertel in Upper Austria .

For 30 years now, unique summer concerts have been held at Clam Castle in Upper Austria. As one of the most extraordinary and spectacular concert and event locations in Austria, the CLAM LIVE event series has made a name for itself at home and abroad.

Numerous national and international musicians and artists have already been guests on the historical area below the medieval fortress. Two different stages are available for concerts. One stage is located in the garden of the castle brewery, a second stage on the meadow of the Meierhof below the castle. On the Meierhofwiese, up to 9,000 concert-goers can experience the performances of the stars in an incomparable atmosphere. The Clam Castle is not only a unique setting for legendary open-air concerts, the medieval fortress, which is one of the most beautiful castles in Austria, is also still the residence of a count's family.
