Clyde Kusatsu ( Japanese ク ラ イ ド 草津 , Kuraido Kusatsu ; born September 13, 1948 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is an American actor of Japanese descent.

Life

Clyde Kusatsu was born and raised in Honolulu. He attended Iolani High School there and studied theater for a year at Northwestern University ( Illinois ), playing minor roles in the meantime.

He had in the US detective series its first guest roles Kung Fu , alongside David Carradine , and M * A * S * H . His first major film was Battle for Midway in 1976.

Later, Kusatsu played in many series, sometimes leading roles. In the soap opera Shadow of Passion , he starred in 27 episodes for six years. It was noticeably often earlier that he was cast for medical roles. He also had guest roles in cartoon series .

Clyde Kusatsu has two sons with his wife, Gayle.
