Emmanuel Hostache (born July 18, 1975 in La Mure ; † May 30, 2007 ) was a French bobsleigh driver .

Bruno Mingeon's longtime pusher was mostly just called Minou in the team . Despite weighing 110 kilograms, the athlete was able to run the 100-meter course in under 11 seconds, making him one of the best pushers in the French Bobsleigh Federation. He celebrated his greatest success at the 1998 Olympic Games in Nagano , where he won the bronze medal with Mingeon, Éric Le Chanony and Max Ribert at the same time as the British bobsleigh pilot Sean Olsson . A year later he won gold in the four-man bobsleigh and bronze in the two-man bobsleigh with Mingeon at the World Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo . A year later he became European champion in the four-man bobsleigh in the same place. His career came to an abrupt end when Hostache was diagnosed with bone cancer ( Ewing's sarcoma ) in 2000 . In 2007 he succumbed to the disease.
