IBSF World Snooker Championship 1991

The IBSF World Snooker Championship was the 18th edition of the World Amateur Snooker Championship . It took place in the Menam Hotel in the Thai capital Bangkok . Noppadon Noppachorn from Thailand became world champion with an 11: 9 victory in the final against Dominic Dale from Welsh .

mode

The 70 participating players were divided into eight groups in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played out in the knockout system .
