The international jury consisted of the following members: Rolf Liebermann (jury president), Leslie Caron , Vadim Glowna , Randa Haines , Vladimir Ignatowski , Chen Kaige , Adrian Kutter , Francisco Rabal , Cliff Robertson , Zdeněk Svěrák and Boris Wassiljew .

Dustin Hoffman received an Honorary Golden Bear for his life's work this year .
