Janin Stenzel
Janin Stenzel (born December 10, 1983 in East Berlin ) is a German actress , voice actress and audio book speaker .
life and career
Stenzel only experienced her childhood in Berlin-Niederschönhausen and, after moving with her parents to the gates of Berlin, in Hönow in Brandenburg . In the neighboring community of Neuenhagen , she attended the Einstein-Gymnasium, which she graduated with the Abitur.
She soon broke off her first degree in French philology at the FU Berlin , temporarily trying to become an interpreter , and in 2006 switched to the HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg Drama School . While still a student, she was awarded the Ensemble Prize in June 2009 at the drama school meeting in Zurich, together with six fellow students . In 2010 Stenzel graduated from this university with a focus on media-specific acting .
She had completed several years of non-university singing training with choir singing from Sarah Kaiser the year before. Stenzel also continued his methodological training in various acting seminars. For this purpose she attended the master classes of Bernard Hiller in Cologne (2012), Nancy Bishop in London (2015) and Eduardo Milewicz in Rio de Janeiro (2016).
Her engagements as a theater actress lead u. a. to Oldenburg, Graz, Porvoo near Helsinki, Basel, Paris, London and Wiesbaden. Of her films, Die Menschenliebe , which won the First Steps Award 2014 , deserves special mention because of its social relevance.
Stenzel works primarily as a voice actress. In many films she is the German voice of Claire Foy , Zoe Kazan , Jena Malone , Mia Wasikowska and Shailene Woodley . In addition, Stenzel works as a reciter on audio book productions , such as the first three parts of the series of novels The Determination by Veronica Roth .
