Ladon is a commune with 1,389 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Loiret in the region Center-Val de Loire . It is part of the canton of Lorris (until 2015: canton of Bellegarde ) in the arrondissement of Montargis . The inhabitants are called Ladonnais .

geography

Ladon is about 50 kilometers east-northeast of Orléans . Ladon is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lorcy in the north, Chapelon in the northeast, Moulon in the east and northeast, Villemoutiers in the south and east, Ouzouer-sous-Bellegarde in the southwest and Mézières-en-Gâtinais in the west and northwest.
