The Kirchdorf Linde is a district of the municipality Lindlar , Oberbergischen Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia , ( Germany ). It is located about 5 kilometers west of Lindlar.
history
In 1413 the place was mentioned for the first time in a document, namely "Combing register for the Fronhof Lindlar". Spelling of the first mention: Linden .
The Catholic Church was built in 1869, followed by the separation of the parish from Lindlar in 1889 . In the 17th century Linde belonged to the Ommer community in the Lindlar parish.
Attractions
- Catholic parish church, built in 1869 according to plans by the diocesan master builder Vinzenz Statz . The furnishings include a carved high altar by Eduard Schmitz, Mülheim 1902–1904. The Way of the Cross was purchased in 1898.
