Lissac is a French municipality with 275 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Loire in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (before 2016 Auvergne ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Le Puy-en-Velay and the canton of Saint-Paulien .

Lissac is about 15 kilometers northwest of Le Puy-en-Velay . Lissac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Céaux-d'Allègre in the north, Saint-Paulien in the east, Loudes in the south, Vazeilles-Limandre in the southwest and Vernassal in the west.
