- Józef Wybicki writes the text for Mazurek Dąbrowskiego ( Poland is not yet lost ), today's national anthem of Poland .
- On February 12th, the birthday of Emperor Franz II , the Austrian imperial hymn, God keep Franz the Emperor , will be heard for the first time . The melody composed by Joseph Haydn is also used in the Kaiserquartett . The song remains the official emperor anthem in the Habsburg monarchy until 1918. The melody was also added to the Germany song . Since 1922 this has been the German national anthem, initially with all stanzas, and after the Second World War with the third stanza the national anthem of the Federal Republic of Germany.
