history
Nyempczicz was first mentioned in writing in 1349 in the Brno land table as the property of Čeněk and Levík from Boleradice and Klobouk. Levík, who was also the owner of Morkůvky, used the predicate z Němčiček from 1350 . The name of the place is probably due to the German colonization. Other owners were the Vladiken von Zástřizl between 1433 and 1490 . Eliška von Zástřizl sold her share to Jan von Pottenstein in 1490, who thereby became a co-owner. 1542 began a period of frequent changes of ownership. Němčičky belonged successively to the Pernsteiners , the city of Brno , the Bohemian court marshal Pertolt von Leipa , the lords of Boskowitz and Čeněk von Leipa. He joined the village in 1583 to the united rule Hodonín - Pavlovice . After the battle of the White Mountain , the goods were confiscated. Subsequent owners were, among others, the lords of Žampach and Pottenstein , Friedrich Graf von Oppersdorff , Johann Adam I von Liechtenstein and Jan Graf Czobor de Czoborszentmihály. In 1762 the Habsburgs acquired the property. In 1763 the village had 346 inhabitants. There is evidence of a school since 1800.
After the abolition of patrimonial Malé Němčice formed a municipality in the Hustopeče district. A new schoolhouse was built in 1893 and expanded in 1927. In 1930, 814 people lived in the village. Since 1961 Němčičky belongs to Okres Břeclav . In the 1970s exploratory drilling for crude oil and natural gas was carried out in the area that went down to a depth of 5 kilometers. The deposit found in the process, however, was not further developed. Traditionally, wine and apricots are grown around Němčičky.
