Nogent-l'Artaud is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saulchery in the north and north-west, Romeny-sur-Marne in the north and north-east, Chézy-sur-Marne in the north-east, La Chapelle-sur-Chézy in the east and south-east, Viels-Maisons in the south-east , Verdelot in the south, Hondevilliers and Bassevelle in the southwest, Pavant in the west and Charly-sur-Marne in the northwest. Nogent is a train station.
