The Zimbabwean Davis Cup team is the Zimbabwe men's national tennis team .
history
The team first took part in the Davis Cup as Rhodesia in 1963 . In the world group, Zimbabwe made its debut in 1998 and went straight to the quarter-finals. There the team lost to Italy 0-5. The team was also represented in the world group in the two following years, but then had to accept relegation to the continental group. The most successful players are the brothers Wayne and Byron Black : With 56 wins and 31 appearances, Byron is the most successful player in his country and also the record player. Brother Wayne is after all the best doubles specialist with 19 one-two victories.
