The Segunda División 1974/75 was the 44th season of the second highest Spanish football league . It began on September 8, 1974 and ended on May 25, 1975. Between June 7 and June 15, 1975, the relegation games were played. Champion Real Oviedo .
Before the season
The 20 teams met twice on 38 match days. The three best teams rose to the Primera División .
The last four clubs were relegated directly, the teams in places 13 to 16 had to fight relegation against relegation.
Relegated from the Primera División took CD Castellón , Racing Santander and Real Oviedo part. From the Tercera División came Barcelona Atlètic , Cultural Leonesa , Deportivo Alavés and Recreativo Huelva .
