The Segunda División 1975/76 was the 45th season of the second highest Spanish football league . It began on September 7, 1975 and ended on June 6, 1976. Between June 20 and June 27, 1975, the relegation matches were played. Master was Burgos CF .

Before the season

The 20 teams met twice on 38 match days. The three best teams rose to the Primera División .

The last four clubs were relegated directly, the teams in places 13 to 16 had to fight relegation against relegation.

Relegated from the Primera División took CD Malaga , Celta Vigo and Real Murcia in part. From the Tercera División came CD Calvo Sotelo , Deportivo La Coruña , CD Ensidesa and CA Osasuna .
