West Indies cricket team in Australia in the 2009-10 season
The West Indies cricket team's tour to Australia in the 2009/10 season took place from November 18, 2009 to February 23, 2010. The international cricket tour was part of the 2009/10 international cricket season and included three test matches , five ODIs and two Twenty20s . Australia won the Test Series 2-0, the ODI Series 4-0 and the Twenty20 Series 2-0.
prehistory
Australia last played a tour in India , for the West Indies it was the first tour of the season after the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2008 season in the West Indies . The tour was split into two parts, with Pakistan touring Australia during the break .

West Indian bowler Sulieman Benn was banned from two ODIs after an incident with Australian Brad Haddin . Haddin and Mitchell Johnson received fines for responding to the incident. Australian bowler Shane Watson was fined for overly celebrating a wicket .
