Attendees

For the 1st Lig 1990/91, the 13 clubs remaining from the previous season were joined by the three promoted teams from the last second division season . The climbers were the three second division champions Bakırköyspor , Aydınspor and Gaziantepspor . While Gaziantepspor returned with the rise after eight years in the 1st Lig, the rise meant the first first division participation in the club's history for Bakırköyspor and Aydınspor.
