This article shows the results of the qualifying rounds for the Australian Open 2019 in men's singles . A total of 128 players took part in the qualification for the 16 starting places in the main round. These took place from January 8th to 11th, 2019. This year for the first time the tie-break of the third set with a score of 6: 6 was played at least to 10. After that, as before, the winner had to be two points ahead.
