This article shows the results of the qualifying rounds for the Australian Open 2020 in men's singles . A total of 128 players took part in the qualification for the 16 starting places in the main round. These took place from January 14th to 18th, 2020. Since 2019 the tie-break of the third set with a score of 6: 6 has been played at least to 10. Thereafter, as before, the winner must be two points ahead.
