Bais is a French commune with 1,239 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Mayenne and the canton Évron (until 2015: canton Bais ). The inhabitants are called Baidicéens . It is an access community associated with the Normandy-Maine Regional Nature Park .
geography
Bais is about 36 kilometers northeast of Laval am Aron . Bais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Champgenéteux in the north, Trans in the northeast, Izé in the east and southeast, Sainte-Gemmes-le-Robert in the south and Hambers in the west.
