Bousignies is a French municipality with 333 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the region of Hauts-de-France in the department of Nord . Administratively, the municipality is assigned to the arrondissement of Valenciennes and is part of the canton of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux (until 2015: canton of Saint-Amand-les-Eaux-Rive gauche ).

Bousignies is located in French Flanders , about 15 kilometers northwest of Valenciennes .

Bousignies is part of the Scarpe-Schelde Regional Nature Park (French: Parc naturel régional Scarpe-Escaut ) and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Rosult in the north, Millonfosse in the south and east, Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes in the south-west and Brillon in the west and north-west.
