Aubry-du-Hainaut is a French commune with 1,679 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Valenciennes and the Canton of Aulnoy-lez-Valenciennes (until 2015: Canton of Valenciennes-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Aubrysiens .
geography
Aubry-du-Hainaut is about five kilometers west-northwest of Valenciennes city center . Aubry-du-Hainaut is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Raismes in the north and northeast, Petite-Forêt in the east, La Sentinelle in the southeast and Hérin in the south and west.
